Kittie is co-producing two shows back to back  (Desmorphia and Ministry of Burlesque’s High Tease) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - and also making appearances on stage, in High Tease.

Toff & Tales - Essex, 18th July

“Castaways welcome our guests to experience a night of Burlesque Variety as the world famous Ministry of Burlesque present elements from their High Tease show featuring the wonderful Miss Kittie Klaw & Mr Jim Devereaux. The evening will commence at 7pm and will finish at 1am after a themed disco. We advise our customers that this will be an adult evening cabaret show and hence we will be implementing an over 18 policy for ticket sales.

Tickets for this night will cost £20 and include a three course meal, the High Tease Cabaret Shows and a late night disco hosted by Miss Hillary Kurt.”

Double the decadence for fourth of July frolics in one of Scotland’s most atmospheric venues. Celebrate Independence Day with two of Scotland’s hottest shows, High Tease – an uproarious revue of razor-wit and frisky burlesque, and Vegas – Scotland’s swingin’ award-winnin’ club, who have joined forces for a fabulous evening of shimmying showgirls, captivating cabaret and titillating tunes.

London on Film, 19th June

opera_glasses1Kittie will be appearing at the London On Film event set for 19th June where an evening of Victorian cinema is shown in the Lexi cinema as part of the Mayor’s ‘Story Of London Festival’. Kittie and double act cohort Jim Devereaux will be performing as Toff & Tales in their infamous routine ‘The Piccadilly Prowler’ alongside High Tease veteran Vicky Butterfly.

London On Film Festival will take place at the not-for-profit Lexi Cinema in Kensal Rise, NW10. This festival focuses on celebrating cinema depicting London and will take place from the 16th-21st June 2009 with each day having a specific theme. Friday 19th is our ‘When? London Through the Ages’ day which will explore London from a historical perspective.  Showing 90mins of silent BFI Archive footage with a newly-commisioned score and post screening BFI talk.
