Performer Directory: Names & Identities
At last – an on going project is launched to compile the names and identities of all of today’s burlesque performers. From the Ministry of Burlesque, the Speakeasy provide the community, scenes and industry a place to research stage names, register their own identity and feel informed without stepping on anyone’s sparkly toes… it’s totally free!

What Is MoB Speakeasy?
It’s a growing directory of over 600 burlesque and cabaret performers from across the world. From newcomer to professional, anyone with a burlesque or cabaret oriented act can be featured. Each listing features a selection of photos and the majority also feature video too.
Who Is MoB Speakeasy For?
The site caters for a number of different types of user:
• Event Producers And Promoters
Don’t leave things to chance! Because we feature photos and video, you can make fully informed decisions about which performers will be perfect for your event.
• Existing Performers
We offer free promotion to performers. You can use the page to show to prospective bookers and link to it elsewhere on the net. If you are a performer and don’t yet feature in MoB Speakeasy, then please use the contact form on the right to get in touch.
• New Performers
Are you looking for a stage name? Well be sure to do your research! Perhaps start with the MoB Speakeasy to ensure that nobody else listed is already using it or a confusingly similar one. Once you have developed your act and have some gigs under your belt, get in touch and we will add you to the site, thus ensuring that people know of your identity.
PLEASE NOTE, Whilst the site operates as a name registry, allowing performers to verify that intended names are not already in use by someone else, it is NOT a legally binding service and should not be treated as such. It is for reference and intended as such. Although we endeavour to be as comprehensive as possible it is not guaranteed to be exhaustive.
