Kittie has been muse once again to the exceptional talents of U.S Pin Up artist, Jessica Dougherty.
Jessica is a celebrated artist working in the USA and her website is offering original artworks and merchandise too.
The March issue of 125 magazine (featured in March news here) contained images by Finlay Mackay and had Kittie on the cover. This issue has been the best selling issue to date of this leading art publication and as a result it is being reprinted!The images went on display in the Paul Smith space in Tokyo back in March and now the acclaimed work is about to be on show in London. read more….
A fantastic image by Michael Lau has landed on the cover of alcohol and entertainment industry magazine, Repertoire. This choice was to celebrate the appearance of Kittie and the Ministry of Burlesque at this year’s prestigious DRAM Awards party.
Kittie and The MoB entertained with an exceptional showcase of vaudeville, burlesque and cabaret to the delight of over 500 distinguished guests from the liscenced alcohol industry… enough said… read more….
Look out for the March addition (out March 1st) of 125 Magazine. This is the ‘Japan Edition’ and it features the much anticipated results of the aforementioned Manga inspired shoot ‘Death Drive’ by the stupendously talented, Finlay Mackay. Kittie (and her novel prosthetic organs) appear on the cover and inside. The shots were created on 15th January (Kittie’s birthday) this year and so this shoot is most memorable for her - needless to say the giant tentacle to which she apparently births amidst a foray of twisted Freudian imagery. The many surrounding special effects and the sheer lengths Kittie went to in order to get the shots, have left a firm impression of the surreal in her mind… read more….
The valentine’s edition of Repertoire magazine is out now -14th February- and features a lovely shot of Kittie on the cover to illustrate the loving feeling of the season. The magazine is aimed at the alcohol industry trade and is supportive of Ministry of Burlesque’s acclaimed High Tease events and fund raising activities for the Britannia Panopticon Trust. The image is a favourite portrait shot taken by the wonderfully talented Tas Kyprianou.

Video game giant Eidos comissioned the wonderful Jessica Dougherty to paint ‘Bomber PinUps’ for their WWII game ‘Battle Stations Midway’. Kittie features as a winking pinup here and also as Miss August in the promotional calendar that comes with the game. The original artwork is also available on Jessica’s website.
