Kittie writes for the joy of playing with words and hopefully, to entertain, to ponder and provoke discussion. A scholar of the curious (with an appreciation of the absurdity of perspective), she employs a love of facts, controversy and humour in a reflective style that attempts to explore misrepresented and forgotten subjects. With a knack for aphorisms and puns her epigrammatic flair has earned her wide appeal and recognition as something of a wordsmith. In 2011 she was commissioned by Quintet Publishing to author a book on burlesque. She also takes dictation for the whimsical furry philosopher, Professor Geoffrey – a purple cat.
